Whenever the subject of time comes up, and being the Sci-Fi junkie that I am. I always am quick to let my mind wander to one of my favorite quotes in Dr. Who:
“People assume that time is a strict progression of cause to effect, but actually from a non-linear, non subjective viewpoint it’s more like a big ball of wibbly-wobbley, timey-wimey stuff.” – The Doctor
I also remember going to the movie theater with my family to see the movie “The Lake House” which tells the story of two lovers, meant to be together, but living in two places in time but in the same physical space. Being that my brain I had already accepted that the two time lines could exist & then later merge it seemed totally acceptable. However I remember my mother coming out of the theater and being utterly perplexed by this concept and confused by the story.
So the question I ask is what is your viewpoint on time? Do you believe that things happen in a complete cause to effect or is there room for dimensional changes and shifts in time?
